I have personal experience of the quality of service Emmaus provides, when I successfully applied for a Headship position through them. I always felt I could call up, get the ‘inside take’ on the school and ask any questions in complete confidence. The support and expert advice I received made the application process far less daunting and I would thoroughly recommend Emmaus to any Church School looking to appoint a key Leadership position.

Emmaus were instrumental in persuading me to apply for the post of Headteacher. I had seen the school advertising in the past but nothing inspired me to get in touch. Once Emmaus advertised I felt intrigued and keen to learn more about the school. I was supported throughout the whole process, which was a very personal and positive experience. I would highly recommend Emmaus to any school thinking of recruiting, and candidates considering registering. If my new school had not used Emmaus I probably wouldn’t have applied.

Could we afford it? My belief, as Chair was that we couldn’t afford not to. Our pupils deserved and needed strong school leaders to be found and drawn to apply. Our success was down to using Emmaus and definitely money well spent.

We tried going it alone to find a CEO for our MAT but had only 2 applicants who didn't meet our requirements.

We approached Emmaus and from the start their professionalism was reassuring. They explained the different options and detailed processes behind their service and we felt the best option for us was their full service with Interview Support. We weren’t disappointed. From their creation of a professional candidate pack, through to their expert interview support, we were thoroughly impressed.

I am convinced that their proactive approach, combined with their extensive and varied marketing initiatives, is the reason we attracted such a wide level of interest and inquiries about the position, not only from people in the local area and the UK, but also from those looking to return from overseas.

If you are having problems filling senior posts in your school, or you are embarking on leadership recruitment for the first time, I strongly recommend you talk to Liam and his team.

We considered TES Prime, but the critical factor for us was that Emmaus are not only specialists in recruiting Headteachers, they are Christians focused exclusively on recruiting for Church Schools.

We came across Emmaus by accident after our own attempts to recruit a Headteacher failed.

From the beginning we were impressed by their enthusiastic approach. Liam and his team designed an excellent advertisement, and exploited our own material to produce an attractive applicant pack. This produced several qualified applicants. We asked them to supervise the whole recruitment process. We could not have carried this out to a similar standard by ourselves. We found an outstanding candidate. We would not hesitate to engage them again to find a suitable candidate for a leadership position. The terms of engagement represented excellent value.

Michael Tennant - Chairman of the Board, St Edward's School

We are delighted with the appointment we made and I have reported to the whole community that we could not have been more thorough in the search or more rigorous in the selection process. Thank you Emmaus Leadership.

Jacqui Feely, Chair at All Hallows Catholic College, Macclesfield

I have no hesitation in commending Emmaus to any school that is seeking to appoint a Christian Headteacher. In particular, Emmaus’ ability to promote the school, assess the ethos of the school and communicate this within the networks of those who might be considered as possible candidates was invaluable.
