Our Ofsted Inspection
We believe we are good at what we do using our God given talents to make a difference to schools all over the country. When we received the following email from Bishop Keith of Birkenhead we were lost for words - he has encapsulated our key strengths in a wonderful testimonial. We know we couldn't have said this better! I have no hesitation in commending Emmaus to any school which is seeking to appoint a Christian Head. My only regret is that we did not go to them for the first round of interviews that proved unsuccessful. It is an expensive option, but in the long run they are more than value for money.
There are three areas in which I think they excel particularly.
First, in promoting the school, getting the ethos of the school and communicating that with the highest quality within the networks of those who might be considered as possible candidates. Compilation of views from students and staff as well as governors was very impressive.
The second area is in their capacity to speak informally with potential candidates to commend the school to them and to deal with the reality of where they may be in their searching and seeking. I have no doubt this played a significant part in the number of applicants and the quality of applicants that we received.
Thirdly, in being able to advise and assist the Governing Body, particularly the Chair of Governors, in territory with which he or she may be unfamiliar and in an appointment which, for the future shaping and direction of the school, is almost certainly the most important appointment that the Governing Body will make. To be able to speak with somebody informally, prior to and following the shortlisting process, as well as being able to debrief afterwards, was invaluable.
I am very thankful to God for the ministry of Emmaus, and I warmly commend them to you.
